Please take to the Recycling Center located off East 6th Street.  Newspapers should be tied in bundles and put in

the trailer parked there.  NO MAGAZINES OR "SLICK" PAPER PLEASE!!!  

Glass should be rinsed, lids removed, and put in the appropriate green (& blue), brown or white designated

area/bin marked for glass. 

Plastic bottles (#1 PETE) and containers (#2 Natural and #2 Colored HDPE) should be rinsed, lids removed, and

deposited in the appropriate container.

 **Used Motor Oil can be taken to the City Street Shed between 8:00am - 3:30pm - Monday - Friday.

 DO NOT LEAVE USED MOTOR OIL OUTSIDE THE STREET SHED AREA AFTER WORK HOURS!!!

Cardboard should be flattened and placed in the wire baskets.

The City of Hermann will no longer take aluminum cans as of October 1, 2011
